Some surveys are organised independently of the Sunday projects, some as part of the Sunday projects and some on both.  Please enquire if you are interested.  Dry weather is usually required.

FROGSPAWN (late February and March); PONDS HOLDING WATER (at the time of the Frogspawn survey; and during the summer); BUTTERFLIES; and HAY MEADOWS (mid-late June).

September NEWT AND BAT SURVEY.  It proved difficult arranging this during the previous programme: the evening is the best time and warm, dry weather is needed.  We are trying again for September.  If you are interested, please pre-register and provide a telephone number, as it may be arranged at short notice.  Please let someone on the Sunday projects know, so that a day can be arranged during the tea break!
